A few new things going on around here that merit announcement. First and foremost I'd like to brag about my brand new baby girl! She was born 1/25/2008, and has 3 older brothers!
Second big news is that the new CFXChange is picking up momentum once again. Several things have kept this new version at bay (new job, moved to a new city, newer job, moved back to previous city, wife's pregnancy, etc...). But now that the dust is settling I'm back at it.
The new site has broken out of the Custom Tag mold and is geared for all things web. From design, to UI, to Back-end CF to DB's and everything in between. Of course a major portion of the site will still be the Custom Tag/Software/Component gallery, but there will also be much more. I'm also adding an integrated forum (home-made) to allow discussing specific resources in our database (custom tags, scripts, designs, etc...).
There will also going to be periodic contests with prizes such as free hosting from HostMySite.com! Look for this soon!
I also wanted to thank everyone who has sent suggestions for enhancing CFXChange.com, and want to encourage more feedback. If you are able to contribute in any way please let me know. We'll need some help to moderate the forums/comments as well as help coding new features.
